Counseling and Mental Health

The University Counseling Center

Deraya is able to offer mental health counselling through its partnership with Dr. Mohamed Khalaf Mohamed Ali, Consultant Psychiatrist at Minya University Hospital. All appointments are booked via the Counseling Center.

The Center provides appropriate advice and guidance to students experiencing mental health challenges, assesses their needs, and informs instructors of any special accommodations required. When necessary, the Center refers students to the university clinic or psychiatrist to ensure they receive proper medical care.

Deraya recognizes that if you are experiencing problems, it can be helpful to talk to an impartial counselor who is outside of the situation and has experience with such issues.
