Deraya University has strong relationships with many local schools in our community. We have organized many on-site programs for school students, including a camp focused on promoting children’s mental health and learning.
During the camp, children worked on personal growth and development while also having fun. The camp included education, sports, farming, Zumba, art, and fun activities designed to support the goal of the day. Workshops and group discussions aimed at improving the students’ emotional intelligence and building positive habits. By participating in these programs, students are able to develop critical life skills that will serve them well in adulthood.
Deraya University also offers programs for high school students, such as workshops, training sessions, and student exchange programs. These types of programs provide prospective students with a glimpse of what university life at Deraya is like.
As a part of Deraya’s commitment to our community, the university is committed to providing community service within its community. Deraya University provides free treatment and awareness services through its medical caravans to Nile Egyptian School- Minya Branch Minia British School Rajac School STEM MISR.
Visit by Nile Egyptian School, Minya
Deraya University was pleased to welcome 52 students along with their teachers and supervisors from Nile Egyptian School, Minya Branch, (NIS). The group toured the University’s colleges and explored student life at Deraya. During the visit, the group met with the University President, the deans and the vice deans of all four colleges and had an interesting discussion and Q&A for an hour.
We host on-campus days with lab visits and simulation sessions, run wellbeing camps that build emotional intelligence through sport and arts, and offer bridge programs that preview university learning.
